Congklak is a kind of traditional game known by various names throughout indonesia. Usually, in the game, a type of clam shells are used as seed congklak and if not there, sometimes also used seeds from plants.
Congklak have different names in different regions, in Malaysia this game is better known as congklek and the term is also known in some areas of Sumatra with Malay culture. In Java, this game is better known by the name congklak, dakon, dhakon or dhakonan. Also in Lampung this game is better known as slow boom in Sulawesi while the game is better known by the name mokaotan, maggaleceng, aggalacang and nogarata. In English, this game called Mancala.
